Located 12 miles northwest of Orlando, Apopka, FL has a population of more than 31,000 citizens. Nicknamed "Fern City," Apopka is known as "The Indoor Foliage Capital of the World".

Seminole County boasts 10 golf courses and 30 parks and reserves. Big Tree Park in Longwood is home to "The Senator," a 3,500 year old Bald Cypress. The recently expanded Northwest Recreation Complex now offers 182.7 acres of athletic fields, basketball courts, tennis courts, volleyball courts and playgrounds.
